KOÇHANLAR MINE PRE-ENRICHMENT PLANT
Our Pre-enrichment Plant is located 3 km away from the Nemli Neighborhood, on the 30th km of the Eskişehir-Kütahya road, directly opposite our parent company, RHI MAGNESITA REFRAKTER A.Ş. Our company, which places great importance on staff employment, currently employs 70 personnel, the majority of whom are women.
To give a general overview of the plant's operation; the raw ore from the mine is first brought to the casting area on our site. From there, the material is transported to the feeding bunker with the help of loaders. Using an intermediate conveyor, the material is sent to a triple-deck screen. The material, separated into three different sizes, is then directed to the Triage Plant, where women staff manually sort out the waste from the ore after the magnetic separators have done the ore-tailings separation. In the Triage Plant, the staff separates the waste portion. Finally, the remaining product is transferred from the conveyor to the stock area.
On average, 100,000 tons of pre-enriched product are obtained from our plant annually.
SATILMIŞ MAGNESITE MINE
The Satılmış Magnesite Mine is located in the vicinity of Ballık village, central district of Eskişehir province, on an area of 273.94 hectares in the I24-B4 map sheet. It includes a Magnesite mine, a Crushing - Screening - Washing Plant, and a Magnesite production facility.
The mining license area belongs to Koçhanlar Mining, and in 2018, a royalty agreement was signed with the contractor, İM KÖSE MINING, for all site operations. Our company obtained the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) POSITIVE certificate for the Satılmış Magnesite Mine in 2012.
The mine structure locally shows variations in certain areas. The path followed in production and the blasted areas are selected accordingly, ensuring that the mine bench structure remains intact, allowing for maximum efficiency to be achieved in a short period of time. Visible reserves are present in the mine.
An average of 110,000 tons of production is carried out annually.
